Tori Welles

Dark and sultry Tori Welles is an American former pornographic actress. Tori performed in adult films between 1988 and 1999, but the majority of her appearances were filmed between 1989 and 1991. She also directed several movies in the early 1990s. Considered one of the most well known pornstars of the late 80s and 90s, she never had any intentions of getting into porn. She dated a bass player of a rock band who had connections to director Paul Norman and pornstar Jeanna Fine. After the bass player showed her picture to Norman, he asked for her number and a few months later she was starring in her first video directed by Norman which was a bisexual themed movie called The Offering. Norman was famous for directing bisexual movies which were a popular genre in the 1980s before fading out in the late 1990s. Welles would later say she regretted making this movie given what was happening with AIDS at the time. She would later marry Norman, with whom she had two sons. In 1997 Norman released a private home video of himself and Welles, filmed after their divorce, called "The Private Diary of Tori Welles". Welles was reportedly angry but said she had no legal basis to stop its distribution. Welles is a former contract performer with Vivid Entertainment, and as of 2004 she worked as a regional sales manager for Peach DVD, under the name Brittania Paris. She is AVN Hall of Fame.
