Kira Kener

Kira Kener from San Jose and Los Angeles, California, posed for 52 covers, 11 photosets, and 41 videos, before retiring in 2007. Kira currently resides in North Carolina. Stephanie's career in the industry began in 1998, and, as in most cases, with the work of a stripper (the winner of the titles of Miss Nude Asia and Exotic Dancer Cover Girl of the Year in 1998). In 1999, she signed a contract with Vivid Entertainment to become a Vivid Girl and made exclusive videos from 1999 to 2005. In 2007 Kener filed a lawsuit against Vivid Video for wrongful termination, breach of website agreement and federal trademark dilution. The lawsuit included allegations of unsanitary health conditions on a Vivid Video set and Vivid Video's disregard for the health and safety of the performers in its films. Vivid countered that Kener was difficult to work with and had tried to set up her own company while still under contract. The suit was settled in April 2007; terms of the settlement were not disclosed. Kener would later state in a 2010 interview that she never liked her porn career and only did it to further her stripping career. She also said she did not like having sex with women but did it since it was required for her work. She admitted that she used drugs to do many of her scenes and that drug use was rampant on porn sets with the female stars. "Guys couldn't do coke cause it would kill their erections, but it was heavily used by the female stars to get through scenes. Meth and heroin were heavily discouraged though since it destroyed your looks and brains".
