Skye entered the adult industry in 2013 and was nominated in 2015 for AVN's Best New Starlet award. She remained semi-active as a performer until 2020, and had nearly 300 credits to her name, according to the Internet Adult Film Database (IAFD), spanning virtually every major production company.
Skye married Zachary Lecompte-Goble in 2016, after getting an abortion later that year to get more roles in porn (or possibly because the child wasn't his) they were separated by 2017.
Skye died in Los Angeles on June 9, 2021. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed she died in a recreational vehicle, and listed her as 27 years old and homeless. Skye's husband identified the body, and Skye's aunt said the actress died at 2 p.m., adding "This is truly a tragedy. If you are suffering from addiction, I beg you to get help!" Skye's autopsy was conducted on June 10, but the release of cause and manner of death were awaiting "further investigation".
In September 2021, the coroner ruled her death "accidental" with the cause being "acute multidrug intoxication".
