Cameo had a long-term offscreen relationship with fellow pornstar Cal Jammer until he left her for fellow adult star Jill Kelly. She worked almost exclusively with Jammer early in her career. Only working with Jammer limited her roles which is why she mostly started in girl/girl scenes in her career. This also likely kept her from rivaling the likes of Jenna Jameson and Jill Kelly as the biggest pornstar of the 1990s.
